We stand on the verge Jupiter in Leo square Saturn (now direct!) in Scorpio. This pattern builds a Goldilocks Zone for our goals. Not too little push; not too much push. Not too little reserve; not too much reserve.
But that’s not all.
There’s a lot of planetary line-up in Leo lingering on our immediate horizons.
On August 4 Venus retrogrades back to Jupiter. Remember that really cool Venus-Jupiter conjunction visible after sunset during the last full moon? Well, we just had another full moon (a blue moon, two full moons in one calendar month) and now we have Venus and Jupiter aligned again. No doubt after issuing the wish list to the previous conjunction, new information and insights appeared that sharpened the aspirations. Great. Take the next day or two and revisit what you wanted then. Compare it to what you want now. Spend a few moments of contemplation dedicated to distinctions between need and want. Refine what you want again... this is a retrograde Venus, after all, and extra review is not redundant; it is essential.
Now, if only a wishing aspect could be found...
On August 6 Mercury aligns with Jupiter in Leo. He is virtually conjunct the Venus-Jupiter alignment, and his excitement might be inclined to chatter prematurely about the celestial goings on. Hold back. Ensure that all statements of need/want, goal proclamation, philosophical platforms, campaigns of consciousness contain ample contemplation and fullness of intent. With contemplation checklists complete, proclaim! Put enough out there to make the splash you intend. Be bold. Amplify. Ensure that the results affirmed will deliver ultimate satisfaction.
We are coming off Venus (worth, creativity, skill sets, talents, economic value) and Mercury (thoughts, words and initiation of plans) to the big, generous guy (Jupiter). Be grand. Be confident and tell the truth about what you can bring to the table. The Sun is in Leo. Bold is not bombastic. But here’s a little thought to go with the Sun in Leo... if you don’t put it out there, your abilities will be out shined by those who are putting it out there.
You can internally affirm and affirm until the next blue moon. Better to be proactive. Declare, deliver and dedicate yourself to an ongoing, campaign of diligent doing. That will please the lingering effects of Saturn in the recent gaseous giant planet square.
On August 9 Mars enters Leo. This is an aspect that encourages full on going for it. If others are taking up space and making no contribution with their presence, usher them out of the way, and shift into overdrive. Mars and Jupiter share in the glory of Leo for a couple of days before Jupiter heads into Virgo (August 11th) for a new set of ordered rules, according to Jupiter, of course.
Send Mercury onto to create organization and unification coincident with his entry into Virgo (August 7th). Create all-inclusive agendas and ensure that Mercury clearly expresses, the “we’re all on the same team, living on the same planet” agenda with accurate articulation.
While the Saturn station may require that you repeatedly yank the starter cord on the lawn mower or snow blower, depending upon your hemisphere of residence, persist. After a sputter or two, ignition occurs. Let your machine (efforts in life) achieve a moment of stability before revving up to full power and taking action. And given Mercury’s involvement in all of the above... be clear, be concise, be conscious.
One last item of unfinished business for the Leo line-up. May we all offer prayers and affirmation that the death of Cecil the Lion brings about awareness and consciousness as to the importance of all animals - and plants and people, too.
